HFFR cable granules

A new European Construction Products Regulation (CPR) has recently been introduced to protect property and the environment by reducing the risk of fire, delaying the outbreak of fire and minimising smoke formation. Although PVC compounds used in the cable industry have excellent insulating properties, they are at a disadvantage in terms of flame retardancy compared to the now increasingly popular HFFR compounds.

SZEPLAST is launching its own range of halogen-free and flame retardant HFFR products, compliant with the latest and most stringent CPR regulations, from the beginning of 2024, after a long preparatory work and as a result of a comprehensive investment.
